Verobid Terms of Service

Operator: Dossou Operating Group LLC, doing business as Profixo ("Profixo", "we", "us"), an Arizona limited liability company, 4539 N 22nd St Ste R, Phoenix, AZ 85016.

Verobid (verobid.online and any related apps, pages, and emails) is an estimating and price-verification platform for contractors. By creating an account, signing in, using the free scan, or viewing an estimate shared through Verobid, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Verobid on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

1. Who these Terms cover

  • Subscribers: contractors and their team members who sign in to Verobid.
  • Scan users: anyone who uses the free market check at verobid.online/scan.
  • Recipients: homeowners, property owners, or other customers who receive an estimate link from a Subscriber.

If you are a Recipient, only Sections 1, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 apply to you.

2. Accounts and access

Verobid is invite-only. Accounts are created by Profixo or by your company owner. You are responsible for keeping your login private, for all activity under your account, and for making sure the people you invite to your company are authorized to see its data. Tell us at once at cedric@getprofixo.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Subscription, billing and cancellation

  • Pricing is agreed when your company is onboarded and confirmed by invoice. Fees are billed monthly in advance unless your invoice says otherwise.
  • Cancel anytime. Email cedric@getprofixo.com or tell your Profixo contact. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until then. Fees already paid are not refunded.
  • If a payment fails, we will notify you and may suspend access until it is resolved.
  • We may change pricing with 30 days written notice. Continued use after the change takes effect is acceptance.

4. Your data

  • Your estimates, price book, customers, photos, and uploaded files belong to you. You give us a license to store, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to run the service for you, including generating PDFs, share pages, emails, and AI features you trigger.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for having the right to upload it, including customer contact information and photos.
  • Estimates you send to a Recipient may be viewed and accepted by that Recipient. Opening and acceptance events are logged and shown to you.
  • On cancellation, you may request an export of your estimates and customers within 30 days. After that we may delete your data.

5. AI features and market checks

Verobid uses artificial intelligence (including models from Anthropic and Google) to import estimates from files, generate market comparisons and price checks, and create visualizations.

  • Market ranges, verdicts, and price checks are estimates, not guarantees. They are built from public pricing sources and AI analysis, may be incomplete or wrong, can vary between runs, and are not a professional appraisal or a substitute for your own judgment.
  • You are solely responsible for the prices you quote and the work you agree to perform. Profixo is not a party to any contract between you and your customers.
  • AI-generated visualizations are illustrative concepts only and do not represent a promise of finished work.
  • Source links shown in market checks are third-party sites we do not control.
  • AI usage may be subject to fair-use limits. Heavy usage beyond normal volume may be billed at cost with notice.

6. Recipients, share pages and e-signatures

  • A share page shows an estimate prepared by the Subscriber, not by Profixo. Questions about the estimate go to the contractor named on it.
  • If a share page shows a market check, it reflects the contractor's decision to display it and is subject to Section 5.
  • Typing your name and clicking Accept on a share page is your electronic signature and has the same effect as a handwritten signature under the U.S. E-SIGN Act. You consent to do business electronically with the contractor. A signed PDF with a timestamp and record hash is generated as the record of acceptance. You can request a paper copy from the contractor.
  • Accepting an estimate creates an agreement between you and the contractor only. Profixo provides the platform and is not responsible for the work, pricing, or performance of either party.

7. Free scan

The scan at verobid.online/scan analyzes an estimate you upload and returns a market verdict. It is provided free, as-is, for informational purposes. We keep a summary record of the scan (scope, totals, verdict, sources, and the contact details you submit) but do not retain the uploaded file. Contact details you provide may be used by Profixo to follow up about Verobid. We may limit scans per user or per day.

8. Acceptable use

You may not: use Verobid to send spam or misleading estimates; upload content you do not have rights to; attempt to access another company's data; reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the service; use the scan to build a competing dataset; or use Verobid for any unlawful purpose.

9. Availability and changes

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, add, or remove features. Material reductions in functionality will be communicated with reasonable notice.

10. Third-party services

Verobid runs on hosting, database, email, and AI providers we select (currently including Lovable Cloud and Supabase for hosting and data, and Anthropic and Google for AI). Their availability affects ours. We are not responsible for third-party outages.

11. Disclaimers

Verobid is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy of AI output.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Profixo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for any decision made in reliance on a market check, verdict, or visualization. Our total liability for any claim relating to Verobid is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Arizona law. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts in Maricopa County, Arizona. Before filing, both sides agree to try to resolve the matter informally by written notice and a 30-day good-faith discussion.

14. Changes to these Terms and contact

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new effective date and, for Subscribers, notify you by email for material changes. Continued use after that is acceptance.
